Hi,
I just finished a new site based on what I learned in the Hello Web App books. Both books were really helpful in learning how to set up user registration and the uploading of images.
The key things I worked on are :
- User can create an account
- User can login with Facebook
- User can reset account password through an email link
- User can upload images and add quotes
- Allow voting for anyone regardless of login
- I limited voting for each image once per day per ip address
