Received an unexpected error when deploying Heroku

#1

I am getting an error when I attempt to deploy to Heroku. Here is the error:

▸ Unexpected character during netrc parsing at character a:

▸ machine control.aldryn.com

▸ login (deleted to protect the innocent)

▸ password

▸ (deleted to protect the innocent)

api.heroku.com

▸ password (deleted to protect the innocent)

▸ login (deleted to protect the innocent)

▸ machine git.heroku.com

▸ password (deleted to protect the innocent)

▸ login (deleted to protect the innocent)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Can you paste in the text that’s in your wsgi.py, Procfile, and settings.py (also removing passwords)?

Also, remind me — does this happen on heroku create or another command?

#3

Yes the error is generated when executing the ‘heroku create’ shell command

wsgi.py:
import os
os.environ.setdefault(“DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE”,
“hellowebapp.settings”)

from django.core.wsgi import get_wsgi_application
from whitenoise.django import DjangoWhiteNoise

application = get_wsgi_application()
application = DjangoWhiteNoise(application)

Procfile:
web: waitress-serve --port=$PORT hellowebapp.wsgi:application

settings.py:
"""

Ugh, my fault, I forgot to specify to paste it into pastebin.com. I’m trying to look for character/indentation issues, and unfortunately they’re hard to parse here. Can you do it once more in pastebin.com?

Here is my code in a pastebin:
